Trash & Recycling Services Provided by Best Trash

  • Collection Schedule:
  • Trash: Tuesday and Friday
  • Recycling: Friday

Carts:

  • Trash: resident supplied trashcan between 30-50 gallons
  • Recycling: 18-gallon red bin

Set Out Time: Place carts at curb by 7:00 a.m.

Trash Guidelines

  • Use resident supplied trashcan between 30-50 gallons in size
  • Additional waste may be placed in bags under 40 lbs next to the trashcan.
  • Bag all trash when possible.

Excluded Items: Dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete, tires, batteries, oils, paints, construction debris, hazardous materials. Do not dispose of liquids in concealed containers. Non-collected items will be tagged.

Heavy Trash

  • Collected on both service days.
  • Yard waste: Tied, Bundled, max 4 ft long, 4 in diameter, 40 lbs. (5 bags or tied bundles).
  • Large items: Appliances, furniture, mattresses (limit 2 per day).
  • Carpet: One room, cut \<4 ft wide, bundled under 40 lbs.
  • Refrigerators/freezers must be drained of Freon with proof of service.

For excess refuse or bulk items, email support@besttrashtexas.com with your address and photos for pricing.

Recycling

Accepted: Paper, cardboard, plastics (#1–5, #7), aluminum, tin, glass.

Remove caps and food residue. Do not use recycling bins for trash. Flatten cardboard and place next to the cart if oversized.

Cart Care

Each residence receives one recycling bin. Damaged bins replaced at no cost; lost/stolen bins replaced for a fee.

Holiday Schedule

If collection falls on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, or Christmas Day, service resumes on the next scheduled day. There is no trash or recycle collection on Christmas Day (12/25) and New Year’s Day (1/1)

Trash Collection Schedule

  • Following Christmas Day, trash will be collected on Tuesday, December 29, 2026.
  • Following New Year’s Day, trash will be collected on Tuesday, January 5, 2027.

Recycling Collection Schedule

  • Recycling service will not resume until Friday, January 8, 2027.
    (excess recycle can be placed out in clear bags/or boxes clearly labeled next to the bin)
